Nappies are obviously an essential if you have a baby but if you’re going with a brand name, they can be expensive! Which is why free nappies sound like a winner, right?
We’ve now reached the stage where Rose is potty trained in the day (yay!) However, we’re still buying nappies for nighttime and I’m always on the lookout for deals.
We’ve tried pretty much every brand in the last two years! And that’s all with the help of free samples.
Here are some ways to get free nappies in the UK…
1. Free baby packs
When you’re pregnant in the UK, did you know you can claim free baby packs? These are filled with free samples, coupons, and leaflets. The main packs to claim here in the UK are the ones from Emma’s Diary.
Sign up online and you’ll receive vouchers for three free packs to pick up at either Boots or Argos.
The second pack, which is called Bump to Baby, includes a free pack of Pampers size 1 nappies.
Find out what else is inside each pack in my Emma’s Diary free packs guide.

2. Coupons
Coupons are still very much a thing here in the UK and lots of baby brands, including Aldi Mamia and Huggies offer these in existing products and on their website.
You can also find coupons in the Bounty pack you get from your midwife at your check in appointment.

3. Baby clubs
There are so many baby clubs to sign up to for free baby products, including nappies. My favourite ones are Boots Parenting Club and Pampers club.
You can earn loyalty points every time you shop and receive exclusive digital coupons for nappies, wipes, and more.

4. Loyalty schemes
I love a good loyalty scheme! They are a great way to earn money back on things you can purchase anyway, but supermarkets and popular high street chains sometimes offer loyal customers discounts and freebies.
Especially when they track your regular purchases and see that you’re buying baby products.
Asda, for example, recently had an offer for a free pack of Pampers nappies for all of its Asda Rewards app users. Morrisons also had free Pampers nappies up for grabs on their Morrisons More loyalty app.
5. Product testing opportunities
Lots of brands like to get real consumer opinions on products, especially baby essentials like nappies. If you’re specifically looking for nappies, Pampers Squad is the first one I recommend joining.
Here is a list of more brands offering baby product tester opportunities.

6. Local sell and swap groups
Local sell and swap groups on Facebook are brilliant for freebies! Join your local ones and keep an eye out for free baby supplies.
Sometimes, parents just want to get rid of stuff ASAP and will give away stuff for free. I’ve seen people share posts with multiple packs of free nappies if their little one has moved up sizes.
7. Mum and baby shows
Exhibitions like The Baby Show and The Baby & Toddler Show showcase so many baby products for mums to be, newborn babies, toddlers, and beyond.
Many stands offer free samples, including nappies, and there are often competitions where you can win big bundles. Some shows also offer free goodie bags for the first x amount of attendees.

8. Sponsored social media posts
If you follow specific brands and look at parent and baby content, you’ll start to get recommended sponsored posts. I’ve seen Pampers do this a lot!
You simply fill in a form and they’ll send you a coupon for a free pack of nappies in a range of sizes. Sometimes, they send the actual pack straight to your front door.
9. Baby banks
If you’re struggling financially, visit your local baby bank and they will help by providing free baby products like nappies, along with other supplies such as milk, wipes, clothes, and more.
10. Competitions
So many stores and online publications run giveaways on their website, email campaigns, and across their social media channels. Follow your favourite mum and baby brands and keep an eye out for baby product giveaways.
Plus, check out free competition sites like The Prize Finder and Competition Database.
BONUS TIP: Write to manufacturers
While it’s not 100% a guaranteed method, writing directly to nappy manufacturers can sometimes be a good way to score free nappy coupons.
Pampers manufacturer, Procter & Gamble (P&G) and Huggies manufacturer, Kimberly-Clark Corporation, for example, have been known to send or email coupons if you compliment their products (or complain about them, in a productive way!).
